Our Location
Carholme Guest House is located in Lincoln's West End on the A57 and sits to the south-west of Lincoln's majestic Cathedral. The Guest House is easily accessible from all directions as it is within one mile of Lincoln's A46 bypass, twenty minute's drive from the A1 and fifty minutes from Humberside Airport. Please view the map below.

Lincoln Castle frontLincoln has many historical and modern sights and features both in the City and further beyond. High on the hill proudly stands the Lincoln Cathedral which was used to film part of the blockbusting film The Da Vinci Code. Lincoln Castle stands just next door to the Cathedral, hosting activities including open-air concerts, classic car and bike shows and medieval re-enactments, to name but a few. Take a stroll down the cobbled streets of Bailgate, to the High Street, St Mark's and Tritton Road retail parks. Stop off and have a quiet drink or something to eat in one of the many bars and restaurants on the Brayford Waterfront.

Lincoln has many green parks including the Arboretum on Monk's Road, Hartshome Country Park on Skellingthorpe Road to the south, The Lawn Visitor Centre uphill, not to mention the vast West Common, which is literally a minute's walk from Carholme Guest House. Take a stroll along the riverside or maybe even catch a river cruise from the Brayford down to the famous Pyewipe Pub and Restaurant.

At Carholme Guest House we are always happy to give advice and information and to share our enthusiasm for our magnificent City and its many superb features and qualities.
