Christmas Market - This is the biggest Christmas Market in Europe. People from all over the world come every year. One of Lincoln's busiest times of year.

Lincoln Water Festival - Held every year around Brayford Pool, the University and the Centre of Lincoln, with international cuisine, rides, stalls and many (often bizarre) water-based exhibitions.

Lincoln 10k Marathon - Once a year, join or just watch the runners. The course goes through the centre of Lincoln.

Waddington Air Show - Showing stunning examples of aviation from its beginning to the very latest in technology. Amazing to watch even if you're not a fan of planes...

Lincolnshire Show - Held on the Lincolnshire Showground, topics and exhibitions vary, but still well worth a look.

Swinderby Antiques Fair - If you're into antiques and collecting, this is a must. It is very well known throughout the UK.

Newark Americana - Bikes, cars, trucks - anything engine-related is on show once a year in Newark.

Festivals - There are a plethora of small to medium sized festivals in Lincolnshire, all with their own style and touch. If you're into festivals, then you won't be disappointed. Try Ecofest in the Wolds for a spectacular view and high quality music.

Winter Sand Racing - Out-of-season motorbike racing on Mablethorpe beach. The proprietor of this Guest House is a participant, though maybe not quite the best..! Races are on a Sunday, from October until March, every third week.
